2016 AGM and Bakeoff!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it to the annual general meeting in March, and to those who couldn’t come, you were missed!

Sue Collins delivered the Treasurer’s report with lots of fantastic news about successful fundraisers over the last year. Helen Radlett – our esteemed Secretary – gave a delightful summation of the last year’s events, bringing up lots of beloved memories and inspiring us all towards the year to come. And our president Sophie Collins had us all tearing up along with her as she recounted the last year as well in a beautiful speech.

Anyone wishing to join this year’s committee were asked to step forward, and many ladies both new and familiar did.

After the required rounds of nominations, voting, and a brief committee meeting, the 2016 committee members were decided as follows:

Sophie Collins – President Lucy Roberts – Vice President Elaina Roilo – Vice President Helen Radlett – Secretary Kirsty Gould – Treasurer Sharron Munro – Assistant Treasurer Kimberly Chapman – Webmistress Luisa Clarke – Membership Secretary Sue Collins – Cake Fairy Shani Eliraz – Programme Secretary

Once the business was completed, it was time for the bakeoff! We had 15 entries in a wide range of flavours and styles. Hopefully most of these tasty recipes will be submitted to our forthcoming cookbook! If you haven’t submitted your recipe yet, be sure to contact ladybirdsrecipebook at gmail.com to beat the March 31 deadline.
